The Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) is a non-profit organization focused on streamlining healthcare business processes. CAQH serves as a central platform where healthcare providers can easily share their professional information with health plans and networks. We re-designed the user interface for their app, CORE, which consolidates all relevant healthcare information into one accessible location.

Design Discussion

The key challenge in this project was uncovering the UX logic behind the UI design. It’s about thoughtful consideration on how to group various types of information to align with users' reading habits, how to strategically use blocks and colors to guide users through the content, and how to arrange labels so that the most critical information is always front and center.

Although the project was relatively straightforward, it was an excellent exercise in understanding how UX and UI are distinct yet deeply interconnected. It reinforced how effective UX design shapes the structure, while UI brings it to life visually.
