We were instructed by our long-term client Tyron Holdings to conduct a rebranding experiment for their sub-brand, Butch’s Propane, beginning with a redesign of their homepage. Tyton Holdings manages a diverse portfolio of companies across industries such as oil and gas, propane, fabrication, waste management, mitigation and restoration, HVAC/R, and government services. They encouraged us to explore various design directions freely, with the only requirements being to retain their existing logo and aim for a clean, minimalistic aesthetic.

Design Discussion
The project was particularly enjoyable and relaxed for us, as there was no immediate pressure to implement any designs - Tyron Holdings was simply interested in seeing how far they could push their sub-brand. At that point, we had developed a long-standing relationship with Tyron Holdings, having worked on several marketing projects together, so we had earned their trust to explore bold, creative directions.
Ultimately, the client chose the most conservative option, which emphasized the brand’s family values. However, I was able to produce some edgier alternatives as well, which was exciting as you don’t typically see such design-y approaches in traditional industries. It was a refreshing opportunity to experiment beyond the norm.
